Mohamed Ali Adam is a dynamic and result-driven banking professional with over twelve years of progressive experience in financial services, corporate banking, and digital transformation. He currently serves as the Head of Digital Banking (Premier Wallet) at Premier Bank Somalia, where he leads the bank’s digital innovation agenda, driving financial inclusion and expanding access to secure and convenient mobile payment solutions across Somalia.
Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from SIMAD University and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and International Relations from New Generation University. He is presently pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Sustainable Development at the University for Peace (UPEACE), Mogadishu Campus.
Throughout his career, Mohamed has led strategic initiatives in product development, fintech integration, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. His leadership continues to shape the growth of digital banking in Somalia, with a strong commitment to innovation, inclusion, and sustainable development.
