With over 7 experience in the IT field, Abdinasir initially served as the Deputy Head of IT in charge of projects and IT service delivery. His areas of specialization include network security in which he has published two international papers. Abdinasir has also authored a book titled “Wireless Security Handbook 2011”.
In his current role, he oversees driving the IT strategy of the bank, developing IT policies and procedures and ensuring timely delivery of key projects. Before joining Premier Bank, Abdinasir previously served as the CTO for Telcom Somalia. Abdinasir holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan and M.Sc. Information Security (Specialized in wireless security) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
