The Premier Bank Board acts as our principle-governing organ and is responsible for the strategic and policy direction of the bank. Our Board is made up of a blend of seasoned businessmen with various business interests and backgrounds, comprising persons of high ethical, moral and professional integrity.

The Board ensures that the corporate governance and stewardship of the bank is conducted in an ethical and transparent manner.

Jibril Hassan Mohamed – Chairman

Mr. Jibril Hassan Mohammed is an astute businessman who has been in business since 2002. As Chair, he guides the Board in overseeing strategy, policy, investor relations and key partnerships within the Bank. Jibril holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Finance. He is also a holder of a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology.

Tengeri Nyaramba Osoro – Director

Mr. Osoro is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with over 10 years experience in finance and banking in Kenya and the region. He was previously Country Treasurer, KCB Bank South Sudan – a fully owned subsidiary of KCB Bank Group. He helped set up the Bank’s Operations and Treasury Department and was fundamental to KCB’s growth as it generated 70% of the overall profits. Prior to that he worked with Chase Bank and Southern Credit Bank (now Equatorial Commercial Bank). He has extensive business interests in Real Estate, Transport, Trade and Agriculture. Mr. Osoro also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and is an avid car enthusiast.

Abdelaziz Ali Eid – Director

Mr. Abdelaziz Ali Eid has been financial services business for the last 16 years. He is also a Director and Shareholder of International Commercial Bank (ICB) Juba, South Sudan. Abdelaziz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in African History. Abdelaziz is an effective communicator and inspires confidence in all the people he deals with.

Ahmed Abdirahman Sheikh Bashir – Director

Mr. Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Economics, an MSc Degree in Statistics and a Master of Applied Economics “Econometrics”.
Mr. Ahmed is an astute businessman in Somalia who has a vast experience in the financial industry having pioneered in the set-up of several institutions.

Khadar Mohamoud Jama – Director

Mr. Khadar Mohamoud Jama is the owner and Managing Director of AMS Logistics Co. working in Somalia, UAE, Djibouti and Ethiopia and has been working in this sector since 1998. Khadar has three Diplomas in Accounting & Business Management. He is efficient, organized, responsible and honest, with a friendly, cheerful disposition and has an excellent service spirit.

Abdullahi Shidane – Director

Mr. Abdullahi has been in the financial industry since 2004 serving different in different roles. He holds a Bachelors and Master’s degree in Computer Science. Mr. Abdullahi is a highly innovative and strategic thinker in the finance industry.

Mohamed Djirde Hussein – Director

Mr.  Mohamed Djirdeh Hussein has a BS in Economics and Business Administration from USA. He has been in the business since 1972 till now, as a Director of Jirdeh Hussein and Co. an 85 years old trading, properties and manufacturing company.

Mr. Djirdeh is the founder and CEO of Sahan Commercial Broker, Dubai from 2002 to 2010.

Mr. Djirdeh also assisted the World Bank,  IMF, EU, UNDP Somalia, FAO Somalia & others  in holding extensive discussions, seminars and workshops in Dubai, Nairobi and Hargeisa on business development,  regional development in  Somalia millennium goals, development projects and capabilities building.

Mr. Djirdeh was also a founder and Executive Board member of Somali Business Council, Dubai from 2002 to present.

Ndolo Kioko Musyimi – Director

Mr. Ndolo Kioko Musyimi is an experienced banker with over 30 years’ experience in the industry both in Kenya and in Africa.

Previously, Mr. Ndolo worked with Standard Chartered Bank Africa in Kenya and Tanzania in various capacities. He was responsible for setting up Standard Chartered Tanzania and was responsible for the retail business growth. Later he joined First Adili Bank in Tanzania, which was a start-up bank, as the Country Head of Retail Banking and Operations.

Mr. Ndolo has also worked for Citi Group in Kenya as the regional Head of Global Transaction Services (GTS). Ndolo holds a MBA from the University of Sunderland (UK). He is also the Chairman of the Kenya National Payments System (NPS) for the Kenya Bankers Association.
